He's not trolling, he's exaggerating a point he's trying to prove. There is a big difference, and the point he brings up is valid.

The thing is, he's not trolling. You're just failing to see the true point of this thread. Also, he's not QQing about ursan. So no, this thread isn't going to be closed. If you don't like this thread, don't post in it. Simple as that.

Feel free to PM me if you want to continue discussing this, don't bother to reply in this thread.

With this announcement Anet has basically said that they are never going to nerf another PvE skill. As it currently stands Ursan is the most powerful thing anyone can run hands down. If Ursan isn't going to be nerfed down to a reasonable level then other skills logically should be buffed to match its power. At least it provides some variety to builds without playing a gimped bar.

As an example if you were to buff Power Attack to equal Ursan Strike it would have to read something like:

"Melee Attack. Deals +100...100...100 damage. Ignores all hexes and conditions you are suffering from. Cannot be blocked." 0 energy, 1 cast, 3 recharge. Any warrior not running Power Attack from that point on would be kicked from every group.

After reviewing the list of suggested buffs however I don't see anything that quite matches my new Power Attack. Ursan Blessing is still better, thanks for trying Div. At the very least add "Signet of Ghostly Might: Bugged again" to your list.

Imba skills create diversity and make doing elite areas easier and you don't have to grind for your norn title so you can farm something and be a mindless drone while doing it.

Watch out! You might be called a troll too!

Actually, to be honest, if mass-buffing like what I proposed goes through, the game could actually be really interesting (with the exception of my SY buff). You can choose between having a few super powerful skills (like ursan strike) or having the freedom of choosing your own bar full of semi-super powerful skills.

And yeah, I considered signet of ghostly might. But I only did one skill per profession, and I figured rit spirits needed to be better. I think ritual lord is probably the least OP change of the bunch.

On topic with the rest of the post though....

I really don't want skills to be buffed! Doing this requires PvE to have a new balance. Maybe it's not with player vs. player balance, but what anet gives to us in buffs, they are also giving to the enemies. What if they buff Rodgort's invocation, but don't touch (insert monk skill here)? It is not balanced, and so for reasons like that, people will continue to depend on Ursan. Let's even give anet the benefit of the doubt. They buff Rodgort's, but they buff heal party, too. Now it just feels like they've gone 1:1 with damage and healing, when it was already 1:1, only now the numbers are bigger.

I would rather see the average PvE-only skill get toned down (like Ursan, TNTF, SY!), and neutral skills get buffed. What I mean by a "neutral" skill is something that will help your party, but not cripple you if the enemy has it, even though it helps them too. I'm going to toss a couple idea of skills that may fit this definition: Watch Yourself, Ritual Lord, Light of Deliverance (maybe?).

tbh PvE is already very easy, with these updates you can pew pew anything with brg rangers + 2 random overpowered pve skills (SY mainly) and great dwarf weapon + barrage and RTW. Pew pew.
